I guess you mean to omit the 664 ext and just call the 7 numbers. I haven't tried it but cell numbers always require 10 digits here - thanks Read More

Does anyone know how to dial numbers with the prefix of 664 from a landline within Mexico? I believe it's a cell number prefix! I've tried 045 first, 01 800, nothing works. Thanks Read More

Driving in Mexico by Maximilien

Hi, What do you think of the way people drive in Mexico? How different is it from your home country? Respecting the road safety rules, driving etiquette such as general courtesy, speed excessÂ… what are the characteristics of the driving style ...

Driving in DF?? You're a brave young woman. DF isn't the worse place to drive in the world (Asia, pick any country) but it's another planet compared to your native land I'm sure. Mexico, like anywhere where road space is minuscule ... Read More

CanadaPatriot

Hey alleycat, The other posters have dished out the info regarding the FM3. Mexico is still the easiest country to acquire a visa that I've seen, Although INM has tried to make it more difficult each year. But it's true, once you board your ... Read More

What would be a good choice for a car, make and model for Mexico. I would like to consider: economy, durability, service and repair, comfort. Probably used for short trips and in town. Rough road use a possibility, but not a necessity.

CanadaPatriot

I'm going to take the high road on this and recommend that you cease from replying to me regarding any of my posts. Your combative behavior is counterproductive to the blog and serves no purpose. Read More

Your welcome...true many great apts are NOT online...but to get a bearing of what to expect, the internet helps. Plus the legwork can be tedious if you're going to Queretaro. It's a big city. Read More

Your rates are probably a lot more expensive than the average Mexican housecleaner which is why most people hire the person directly. The difference in the rate is definitely worth the potential loss due to theft. The company covers part of the wage ... Read More

I would NEVER have a new car in Mexico. A small SUV such as RAV4 or similar is good because you may get caught in a flood. Also with the potholes/topes everywhere I wouldn't have a low riding car. Foreign cars tend to be very expensive when ... Read More
