Greetings - I am in the process of moving overseas with my dogs and recently, my neighbor who is leaving the British Virgin Islands for good and go back to England, had her cat escape while loading the taxi to leave. Because there does not seem to be much information out there for expats moving with pets I wrote a couple of posts:

If you don't want to read them, no worries, but if you are going to be traveling soon with a pet I would strongly recommend you check into health certificates, airline policy, cost, quarantine. Oh yeah, and make sure the crate is locked when loading the taxi!
