I've just moved the once (from Toronto to Buenos Aires), but it was for a fresh start and also to start appreciating life again. Stuck in a rut and not rally a great one. Moving has helped me refocus and also remember the little things that are important in life.

why didn't you appreciate all those things you missed before the move? I think it's very difficult to start from the very beginning.. no friends, no familiar places... no home... no relatives who can support in any case....

Got into a rut. You start doing the same things over and over then start to forget there's a whole other world out there. Moving presented me with challenges for sure, but I started to really appreciate the little victories like taking transit and ending up in the right spot. I've made a lot of friends and learned a lot about web sites. I have even created a couple. Before moving my tech abilities were limited to texting. For me, moving was a great change. I will eventually return to Toronto, but life will be different when I do.

I moved to Holland from Spain...my motivation was to improve my english, work in a mutinational company which means improve the job situation I had, meet new people and know new cultures.

Moving to Al Ain from South Africa to teach. Decided to go because it presents a new challenge. Also need a fresh start and new opportunities. Hoping to save some money too, for when I do return one day. Very very sad about leaving my family and friends :(

I greet you Annaobraz, for me,it have reason, and one of it,to start in new country, in new company, new life, learn job, meet and know different people from all over the world, learn the culture of country I arrive, and to improve knowlwdges together with financial situation of mine. this is my opinion, and travel and see planet from different places-this is like you are in the Cosmos, and look down, but,in case of arriving you see the Earth onland vision.:)

Cheers,Mery

I've moved places many times though only moved once to a different country so far from Indonesia to Australia because of relationship reason.

I love living where I am now but somehow I've missed the trill of advanture. I would love to live somewhere in Europe for a year and see what happends. I guess, my love of travel and wanting to experience so many different things make me hard to stay long in 1 place.
