Offer from DRC

Hi ! m magsus from India ,having aviation security background.I got an offer from PAE group U.S. to work at DRC city not known I guess Kinshasa. Although all the queries which I had are solved as I'd gone through all the posts by the members,but still I want to know one thing that USD 689 + 1200 USD for food (Which company is offering) is sufficient to survive there if I have to send money to India also .Lodging and medical is provided by the company.Any reply will be highly appreciated.

Cost of living in the DRC is quite high, but you are fortunate that the company is providing accommodation (and transport?) If you doo not go out to restaurants,bars and spend much money on entertainment, what you are getting should be sufficient to survive on and send some back to India.聽 But it will mean that u will SURVIVE, not live like a king...I hope that helps?
