any one try to log on to twitter today, i think it is banned now in Egypt and later they will close Facebook too :-(

you can get around the block on twitter by using a proxy server.

my son was on yesterday also while everyone claimed it was blocked he was back on in just a couple of minutes after it first went off line with just a couple of key strokes.

I do wonder what today may bring.

yes thats what my son youssef did, he said they were silly if they thought what they did would prevent access for more then a few seconds

The Egyptian government blocked FB, Twitter, and bambuser yesterday, because we used it to organize a demonstration.
then we used opera, proxy,and vpn server.
So the government found out that they cant hold us down, then they unblocked them.
If they do that again, you can use proxy sites
like hidemyass.com
Or u can use vpn apps
like hotspotshield.com

Or you can join us in the protests
