You may ask about it to big hotels, waxing is not common that much to egyptians, as they use a mix of sweet called halawa.

Wild Halawa is a type of wax its called Sugar Waxing. Very painful

I would suggest you check Mericure or Four Seasons they will be the only ones that would offer this service in Alexandria professionally.  You may find some women doing it but I wouldnt suggest it unless they have a degree from outside the USA.

Waxing is becoming much more popular in Egypt and soon it will be everywhere but as of now the best places to check are Four Seasons and Mercure.

Wax is a different type of mixture than halawa. Is a mix of bee wax, colofonium, paraffin oil and other ingredients. The term waxing is used wrong, is actually hair removal. Is the same as when you copy a page you call it xerox, even is a trademark.

Wild your right about the ingredients I never said it was the same ingredients but it is the same concept I use both so I know what and how both work LOL.

Halawa works the same and in my opinion is more painful then waxing.  I do not in anyway think most of us could handle halawa on a monthly basis. Halawa is great but the fact is Waxing is much quicker but is harder on the skin.

And as you said... Halwa is a type of Wax lol... It has bees wax ;-) which is a type of wax no matter how you look at it.
