Ordering Food

Adele6

Hi

I'll be moving to Cairo in two monthsÂ’ time.  I use to live in Vietnam and we had a website from which we could order food.  Do you have something like that in Cairo?  I don't speak Arabic.

Thanks

You do not need to speak arabic to make a delivery order ...Most of the big chains do have English and Arabic IVR with reasonable operators ..you can help the accent but still you can order

Hey Adele,

Good news you are about to come to "home delivery" capital of the world... literally everything from groceries to pillow cases, pet food to cigarettes... can be ordered by phone and delivered to your home.

Make it a habit when you come to Egypt to pick up the brochures and phone numbers of restaurants, supermarkets...etc

also there is an app on android that has the delivery call center numbers of most stores in Egypt called "Egypt's Hotline List"

cheers

Noory

I usually use Otlob.com application.. they make life a lot easier given the fact that you don't need to interact with restaurant call center agents and all the hassle. :)
