Looking to live in Ethiopia

Hi everyone, Im a graphics designer/ marketing specialist and hope to move to Ethiopia soon...I will be visiting initially for 3 weeks to search for accommodation and business leads and links..

I have found your blog exceptionally helpful and just wanted to add a new post in gratitude to you all....

I love the outdoors and 'hooked' on fishing....and have my eyes WIDE open for lake Tana.

i hope i can get a few ideas of how to get started as soon as im there from an expats point of view as i will be a TOTAL "newbie"....

Thanx again and keep up the great work you are all doing on this blog...

P.S....i hope the expat meet hasn't been done yet, would love to meet too

Thank you for your reply. I have been to Ethiopia before but only on very short visits and those were years ago.

i have been contacted by a flat owner, but it seems her inbox is full...no messages going through....is it appropriate and within the blog's regulations for me to send my email (one i created just to receive from this blog)...? thanx in advance....i read the Terms and found no reference to private contact details...but it would be great to know from an admin...

Hi Melissa...well....to put it short, im literally a 'handyman' except i use a mouse instead of a toolbox .... started as an engineer...went on to become a designer....and now working in graphics and GIS (digital mapping and analysis).

Raised in the UK, currently living between Sudan and UAE....i love the outdoors....here we hunt, fish and camp almost every month when allowed.....i enjoy trying new things and have always wanted to keep moving...it sort of lifts my spirit and gives me more inspiration....and i KNOW Ethiopia has plenty to offer.
