A new Guy in Town

Brendanq

Hi there to you all.

I am back and forth from Accra at the moment getting things set up for moveing out here to work at a school and orphange.  It's based up in Camp 2, Teshie.

I will be here permanently at the end of April 2011 so thought I would hop on this and see who is out here, what people are up to and see if there are any other like minded people living in Accra.

At the moment I am living in a pretty all Ghanaian environment with no other europeans around, it's not too bad but I can forsee a time when I am going to need some social time with people who are of a similar culture just so I don't start feeling a sense of isolation.

So, who is out here, what are people up to and what is going on.

Hope you are all well and look forward to hearing from one, some or a lot of you.

Brendan

Welcome to Ghana and I am sure you will find a lot of like-minded people and places where you can hang out and socialise.
Another site is accraexpat.com and that has a lot of listing of events and organisations to join etc.

Cheers!

Hello Brendan,
I hope you enjoy ghana. I recently moved here (2months ago) and trying to find some sort of social life. There are lots of like minded people in town so you´ll be fine.
