Kindly suggest if this works out to a good package in Nairobi

aknairobi2017

Hello All,

I have been offered a job in Nairobi area (Kenyan company with Kenyan-Indian ownership), with monthly net pay of 260K Ksh, plus furnished accomodation, family medical coverage, car with mileage reimbursement, annual to-&-fro economy air fare for self & family.

All costs of work-permit, self/family visa, air fares (arriving in Nairobi) and dependent passes will be company's liability.

School (01 child) & Utility expenses will be my responsibility.

Kindly suggest if this works out to a good package in Nairobi with savings potential, considering I am a 15+ years experienced sales management professional.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts/inputs.

Regards,
AK.

In my view, that is a very good offer, unless you're gonna be working 24 hours with no sleep like a robot ;)

But really, it is a very good offer. The average pay for a Kenyan govt employee is only about 50K Ksh with none of the additional benefits that you'll be enjoying.

In fact, you could take the job and hire me to assist you as a freelancer when you have some quick jobs  :)
