Libyan Embassy London - Business Visa processing Times

In my experience about 7 months ago it took a week for the libyan visa in london to process my business visa (once electronic visa reference number was in place).

however, just seen the official Libyan Embassy Website (oh yes, brand new official libyan embassy website) for the UK and it states that visa processing is done in 24hours?

does anyone have any experience of visa processing times of Libyan business visa's in london recently. anything within the last few weeks to support their statement that it ttakes just 24hrs???

Got mine 4 weeks ago. Took 4 days. Hand in Monday am, collect Thurs pm.

and you definitly have to go back to your country of residence to renew your business visa or can you go anywhere with a libyan embassy?

Are you sure that is a real genuine official Libya embassy website or a fake?
Can you let us have the website address because I would dearly like some accurate information.

The site that you are referring to is not an official embassy site. Its a guide to all foreign embassies, and Google directs it to Libya, if that's what you have in the search bar. The 24 hour visa service is offered by a commercial company who apply on your behalf, for a price!! (And they cant guarantee 24 hrs) The genuine Libyan PB website is crap, out of date, and the only useful piece of info is their phone number, that you should call to check opening times, visa processing etc.
