Been here 5 years - moved from Florida in 2006. Married to a Mauritian for 17 years and have two teenage children (both born in the SF Bay Area, incidentally).

To reiterate graymatter's question, what exactly would you like to know?

I'm getting ready to make the big move!
I was born in MRU, but left as a teenager and lived in several european cities, then moved to California in the early eighties.

I'm giving myself two years in MRU to figure out if I can adjust and find work!(Actually 4 months to find work).

Did you move with jobs already lined up? How long did it take you to adjust? Did you ship your belongings there? If so who did u use?
