Looking for advice please on how one goes about having a new Passport number updated on your Residence Permit that was issued on a previous Passport number that has now expired.

It was relatively quick and easy. You need to go to the immigration office in Port Louis. I think you need to bring a certified copy of your new passport and your residence permit and I think 2 passport photos. May be worth phoning them first to check what you need

Mail Copy of new passport and residence permit to : pio_spouse@govmu.org

Received confirmation within a day. No personal visit required.
