Hello Chantalev,

Not all areas around Mauritius have issues with water. Most people now have a water tank at home, which usually helps a lot.

Which region are you in?

Cheers,

Very surprised by your reply.

Am in the North we have 3 tanks.

Chantalev

This is not the vibes am getting.

We have a very sophisticate and intelligent water system. One tank on ground level which receive sporadic supply from the CWA. Our water is limited to 5am to 12noon, if that. Water tank deliveries are a rare illusionary vision despite harrassing them. It’s like a lottery if they somehow have your reference number.

Sorry we may be in different parts of the island but the water management is to be desired.

incidentally there is a thread in 2023 along the same line. Maybe you may like to refer to that thread to see the level of frustration we have in the North.

@Chantalev

Hello,

Some regions (North/West) are more affected by others. That is why Cheryl asked where you live as the first post was lacking this information and having water tanks normally fix this issue in most cases (there are exceptions).

Thanks for clarifying, It might help other members in the North share how they’re managing, if they are affected by the same problem, and how did they fix it.

Regards
