There's a contemporary Art Gallery at Black River too.

thanks alot we tried with bagatelle shop , but didnt worked out as they import it. will check with waterfront and black river as well

it would help some one as well like students of art college if any or good painers to who we can conatct .

Yes.you can try the Gaetan Duval school in ebene,Institute of Fine Arts at Mahatma Gandhi Institute or the University of Mauritius.There are a few others;sculptors and all.I'll try to make a short list and PM you.

Seebaluck Art Gallery & Galerie Raphael

In Pointe aux Cannoniers you can find the biggest art gallery of Mauritius: Seebaluck Art Gallery. On two stories a wide choice of paintings is awaiting you.

Opening hours of both galleries:
Monday to Saturday: 9.30 am - 7 pm
Sunday: closed

How to get there:
Coming from Grand Baie, follow the Royal Road, till you are in Pointe aux Cannoniers. There you find both galleries close to Clinique du Nord on the left side of the road.

I guess it all depends on what you like and what you are prepared to pay.

Take a look at the Facebook page Armand Gachet's Arts. I was really struck by 'Le Morne at Sunset'.

I have come across a Gallery in Floreal at a shopping complex but I can't remember the name of the shopping complex. Maybe someone else on this forum knows where I mean.
