I came on tourist visa and it's expiring very soon. What happens if my visa expires and i don't leave Mauritius? Is there a fee or jail time?

Hello everyone..聽 Need Your help please my Friend from Nigeria was here in Mauritius before the Pandemic and during look don't the visa expired . When he went there they say that it's look down they can't do nothing it's closed. And the day come when he just bought the ticket to go home . In the airport they saw that the visa is expired already and gave him a paper of illegal red card.聽 Please help me what can I do ? 馃ズ For him to can come back to Mauritius

Hi Nadeem , reading ur comments , feels u know much about, i hope u can help me with some advice please..Im self employed , i have a indian girl working as part time after her course at my resto, she is really hard working, and unfortunately her student visa is expiring on nov 28, can you please advice me how can extend either her visa or turn it into working permit ad she willing stay and work.
