Pointe D'Esny/ Blue Bay expat scene

Hi all,

I live in Grand Baie, but we Re thinking of renting a small weekend cottage down in blue bay area. Is there an expat scene down there? Good beaches I'm sure? Is there a gym and a golf course nearby? Thanks a lot

There is a lot of expat down here. Gym down on the way to Blue Bay in London Way Building.
Golf 30-45 min drive.

Andrea,

The beach in Point d'Esny is beautiful and calm and always quiet, even on the weekends when there are tens of familes in Blue Bay beach, the beach in Point d'Esny is practically empty. To access it, there is a little hidden small laneway that leads to it.

You will enjoy it, we love it and spend practically every Sunday there sun bathing.

That sounds ideal and just the sort of thi g we are looking for, the beaches in Grand Baie are gorgeous,聽 but they do get quite busy on the weekends!
