You need to contact a funeral home and they will embalm the body which is a legal requirement for the body to travel but technically is against Islamic rules and so I would say, even if its the deceased wish to be returned to morocco, to consult a religious leader of the Islamic faith to help the family understand that the importance of not carrying out this wish is better for the deceased in the after life than to disobey Allah and carry it out.


The location of burial is irrelevant once someone passes aslong as they are buried in a muslim burial ground and the few other Islamic traditions are met.

Most countries if not all can complete this process .

The cost of embalming and repatriation is unnecessary.


If the deceased has no rights to local burial and must be returned, this is an embassy and
