New law about hotels not married couples

Hey

A friend in Morocco just told me that there is a new law now about married att. when staying at hotels.

But is it only for tourist this new law about not need to be married to stay together at hotels in Morocco or can you now also stay with a girlfriend/boyfrind from Morocco without being married.

It's nit a new law, it was a hustle, une arnaque to sell tourists 2 rooms on of which聽 could be sold twice.聽 It was so called upon instruction of the police,聽 but the only thing the police wanted to know was who was stAying at the hotel.

Hey,

Actually, it鈥檚 not a new law. This has always been the case. As long as you are both non-residents or foreigners, you are able to stay in a hotel or apartment together in Morocco without needing to be married. This rule applies specifically to tourists and foreign nationals.
