British Seeking Divorce with Moroccan Wife (1 year)

Zakaria Islam

Hi all,

I am looking to initiate a cost-effective divorce from my wife. She is currently living in the UK with a friend, and I have no particular concerns about whether she stays here. The main issue is that she has blocked me on all platforms, and her family has minimal contact with me. I would like to proceed with the divorce as soon as possible.

Hi, this might help.

I don't know the circumstances around your split, but if she is still under a visa. I'd be wanting to send her back.

The terms "divorce" and "cost effective" rarely appear together. In fact, a "cost-effective divorce" is an oxymoron.

Mate your best bet is to do it yourself, as long as you have got her UK address wherever she is living you can pretty much start the petition on your own and no need for solicitor, specially if there are no joint assets or children involved. You need to pay £593 fees to initiate the process and select the reason from the drop down, divorce can be based on number of elements, adulterous partner, long absence, DV, mutually agreed etc.

So choose what suits you better and is a true fact of your own circumstances.

Sorry to hear that but chin up and do what’s in your best interest as what happened to you is quite common and these colours only comes out when it stops to rain 🙂

Wish you all the best and hope you do not have children together nor any joint assets.

Why are you divorcing? Visa scam?
