Hi everybody, I'm a muslim moroccan woman (living in Spain for a long time) who's planning to marry a Southafrican christian man... we want a moroccan marriage, but it seems like if there is no way for a civil marriage in Morocco.. they all ask my partner for a religion certificate (that shows his conversion to Islam but he is not muslim!!). Do any of u know how to have a recognized mixed marriage in Morocco? Thank you :) Regards Samiom

I am in Canada right now with my wife and I don't plan to settle in Morocco.聽 We should not paint everybody with the same brush, but my Moroccan wife is nice and she will never argue.聽 She is honest and open minded.聽 We do have good people in Morocco.聽 The Quran says * a believer will a marry a believer* and God will make it happen.

My plan at that time was to go and work there.聽 It's not a safe place to live in, the whole country is corrupt from head to toe and people are greedy for money.聽 Taxi driver did rip me off, money changer tried to rip me off on exchange rates, I had to set the record straight. Bribes are common practice, to get things done quickly, I had to give money to Adul, the list is long......
