Scarce skills are fields of聽 medicine, engineering and sciences. If you have a degree in this field, you are good to go. A postgraduate degree can even earn you a special temporal residence permit which automatically qualifies you for a permanent resident permit

In what language do you wish to find typing work?

About 9 SA languages are official languages (not sure) but only English and Afrikaans (very similar to the Dutch language) are used mainly for business purposes. However, you can find a lot of interpreter job if you speak French, Russian, German etc. Such skills are useful as there are many tourist around especially in Cape Town and surroundings.
