Hello Everyone! Excited to Join the Community!

My name is Seza Samuel Tsav, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this forum! I’m currently based in Nigeria and am exploring the possibility of moving to Tunisia for new opportunities and experiences.

As a criminologist with a strong background in youth crime prevention and early childhood education, I am passionate about empowering communities and supporting families. I believe that education is a key tool in fostering safe and resilient environments.

I’m particularly interested in connecting with other expats and locals to learn more about life in Tunisia, especially in relation to community engagement and social initiatives. I’m eager to exchange ideas, share experiences, and discover opportunities for collaboration in areas related to education and crime prevention.

If you have any insights or tips about living in Tunisia, or if you’re involved in community projects that align with my interests, I would love to hear from you!

Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Best regards,

Seza Samuel Tsav

Hello Julien,

and thank you for your kind welcoming words. In fact, my parents (and hence my larger family) are originally from Mellita-Djerba while I was born and raised in the north of the country. After a short career at the university of Tunis, I left Tunisia in the early 80's to get my PhD in economics in Canada. Once done, I decided to settle there. So I worked and lived in Ottawa for 35 years, but after my retirement 8 years ago, I spend more than half of the year here in my house in Sidi-Jmour.

At this moment, other than seeking help to adopt, care and love 2 puppies, I don't really need any other help. However, being from here, having certain academic skills and having travelled the world for my work, I am offering my help, any help, to whoever member that needs it while I am here in Djerba (mostly during winter and summer times) or in Canada. I am fluent in Arabic, French, English and know some Italian and Spanish.

Cheers,

Julien
