Visiting Neighbouring Countries

n4m1

My family and I live in Zambia and would like to visit neighbouring countries like Tanzania and Zimbabwe by road and visit other parts of Africa too. We a are bit reluctant because Papua New Guinea is not a country that is widely known like Australia & New Zealand where a lot of people travel to Africa. We do not want to drive all the way up to the border and be told sorry you can't pass through with your passport because it's not recognised or something like that. Has anyone from a less popular country moved around without problems? Would like to hear from you.
