Dear Beijing

jhni

My letter to Beijing:)

Dear Beijing,

It is good to see you. You have certainly been busy since my last visit, and to be honest, like you know me, I would be a bit disappointed if you had stayed the same. You are still going 120 miles an hour, which I am very grateful for. But where are you going, have you ever thought about that?

Last summer we had a summer flirt, you know it and I know it. So I am amongst other things here to find out if we can actually live together. You have your small quirks and I have mime. Can we find a way to work them out? As you know we do not always understand each other. We have come a long way with a smile and a лл, but I need more than that if we shall live together. I would like to know the real inner you, your hopes and dreams, your defeats and sorrow. Will you have the courage to open up to me? I take it upon myself to learn your language. I know you will never learn mine, and I am fine with that. I will need some help thou, I cannot learn it alone and it will take some time.

Your people have been treating me very well so far, I would have had a very hard time without them, and so I am very grateful for all the help I have received. It is certainly not easy going to the other side of the planet alone, but that is the price I need to pay to see you.

Last summer I promised you that I would be back and here I am. There where a scent of doubt in some of your letters about my return, but I believe in us and I know you do too. So I dare you Beijing. Will you open up to me and meet me at 20:00?

Love,
Jens
