Visiting to Ooty

Hey everyone,

I'll be visiting India (Ooty) soon, its my ever first trip there,

is there anything i gotta beware of
anything i should avoid ?

I'm new too. I'm frm Paris and have been staying in Chennai for a couple of weeks now. I'm yet to get around the city. When I ask for a cool place around Chennai, the first answer that I get is Ooty. So, that should make my first tour in India.

How far is it frm Chennai? Should I have to go to agents or is it manageable by myself?

If you are planning for ooty, do take a ride of Vintage train journey from Ooty to Coonor. You can have a wonderful sight of Mountains and Valleys and in Coonor you can fine tea estates. You can find some good hotels in Coonor too if u plan.Please dont buy any tea or coffee powders easily available as u may be cheated in that case. Any assistance let me know how i can make your journey green and comfortable.
