Classifieds-What is accepable for sale?

My son has outgrown his interest in LEGO buliding sets boxed and unopened. Rather than lying around without being build I offered to sell at cost, bought along with us from our place of origin. I have put these up for sale in a local website so that a secure transaction can take place. Else how would anyone be able to purchase any item without any guarantee (money paid = item received). The moderator may have misunderstood my purpose implying my intentions are for commercial gain. Also no proper advice was given about what can be sold or excluded. I found the answer to be rather blunt and crude.
My question to the moderator, if a piece of furniture with a price can be accepted for sale is this not a commercial transaction? or for that matter a car? or other household items? Even saw a handphone up for grabs.

Pretty much anything legal can be advertised in classifieds but not on the open forums.
