How to maintain a US address with mail service

Would like to hear what other's are doing to maintain a US address while living abroad.? I signed up for Anytime Mailbox, but could not complete the process as they needed a notarized form for the US Postal Service.? The postal service requires two forms of identification with one showing a US address.? ?I no longer have a valid US DL because I hold a Japanese one and am not a property owner in the US.? I do still maintain a US passport.?

Not sure how you can obtain a second US address ID if your US D/L is already expired beyond the time they give you for renewal.

But the nearesy US embassy or consulte will Notarize whatever you need for $50.00.

When I obtained my Japan DL they reported that back to my US state.? I forgot about the consulate.? Thank you!

Wow. I had no idea they do that.

I got my JP D/L with the 外免切替 from my valid US D/L.

But I still have my US D/L which I've even renewed from Japan.

Very useful when I'm back in the US.

? I thought would be my case as well, but when I tried to renew it, the DMV stated that my DL was removed from the system because I had moved.? I assume that Japan DL service reported this.?
