Looking at the last couple of pitiful responses, I am driven to respond to help out! But I hesitate, despite having been an expat here for many years.

I have helped other expats who have asked for SPECIFIC information. There is no difficulty with that.

But, to be fair, if you look closely at the suggested range of items suggested, any reply from anyone will have to be based on a PERSONAL lifestyle - not a GENERAL basis. My lifestyle in terms of where I live, what car I own, how many family members I support, whether I am vegetarian, what job I do, the hours of work I do, how far my office is from home, what holidays I go on, what leisure facilities I use etc, is a very PERSONAL matter; of what relevance will that be to any one else? Of course, an item of expenditure such as the price expenditure such as the price of a litre of petrol or the fare on public transport will be easily available on Google.

So, may I respectfully suggest that the way in which information is requested in future is well thought out so that people will feel enthusiastic about replying.

Please consider.

I shall include myself on the list of anyone who plans to reply.
