Asalam Alaikum Everyone,

I am a Muslim foreigner in Malaysia doing my postgraduate studies. I met a woman for many months ago, she is an American christian. we've been talking about Islam and she decided to come to Malaysia to convert to Islam inshallah. after while we are planning to get married in Malaysia. we both foreigners. my question : is it possible to convert her to Islam in Malaysia and will it be possible for both foreigners to get Married in Malaysia ?聽 I will appreciate your experience on the topic ..

Anyone may convert to Islam of their own free will very easily in Malaysia.
Pop to any religious affairs building, state your intent, say the declaration of faith in front of two witnesses and that's it.
You'll be issued an ID card and offered help and guidance.

Two foreigners can get legally married in Malaysia but some places are more open and helpful than others.

The lady will need a certificate of no impediment from her local office to prove there is nothing stopping her legally marrying.
Under local rules she might be asked for her father's consent and that might well take the form of a telephone conversation.
