I am looking for accommodation in Kuala Lumpur for barter, I need to stay for a few nights to apply for an Indonesian visa, I cannot afford rent at the moment, I live in Sumatra right under the jungle, we are building an autonomous, holistic settlement there for people who want to live in nature outside the system

You mean you want to stay for a few days at someone's place in KL and in return will let them stay for free at an autonomous, holistic settlement in Sumatra for people who want to live in nature outside the system?

I don't know if anyone is going to agree to that since I am guessing that you have nothing concrete to offer them.

Why don't you just find a cheap hotel to stay at. That's what I did. In fact my Indonesian visa wasn't ready when it was supposed to be, which was on a Friday, so I left Singapore and flew in again the following Tuesday. I know that even cheap hotels are expensive by Indonesian standards, but I think it'll be easier than finding people to trust a stranger on the internet.
