Visa agent who can help to renew my guardian pass.

kveetil

I am looking for a visa agent who can help me to renew my guardian pass. I already have an appointment with immigration, next week, I need to prepare a personal bond and declaration of working along with other forms. Other forms are filled but I need help with personal bond and declaration of working by commissioner of oaths.

Please let me know any agents who can help for a service fee.

Hi

Has anyone used an agent before to gain an Employment Pass?
I am dealing with a company who is keen to provide any paperwork needed to help me gain an EP but suggested I use an agent to help with process?

I did contact ESD but they mentioned the company needed to register online first but the company I'm dealing with suggested to use an agent?

Turok,

There is no such thing as a general EP, if thats what you mean. You have to have the employer apply for your visa. There ARE agents, like for foreign maids who also help get a job but thats not your case, I think. So, we are left with talking about employment agents of which Malaysia is full of scammers. My advice is to wait for a real job offer and let the employer handle your visa. That said, if the employer who is giving you a job suggests the use of some particular agent used for all of their company hirings, thats another matter and you can go that direction when the time comes. Dont give any money to anyone.

Hi - Many thanks for your advice. I'm current a Resident Pass holder with my RP expiring in the middle of 2021 and have been working part as a freelance editor. The firm that has been giving me work is open to providing any papers, etc needed to help me next year to remain and work in MY and apply for a EP but said could I see if an agent could help and act between the firm and myself to get this happening...Unfortunately given MM2H at present and also the fact that the firm in MY hasn't employed expats before, its difficult for them to progress given their lack of understanding and possibly easy way out to avoid the process...maybe

I agree - lots of scammers around which doesn't help

Cheers

Paul
