Hello,

I'm veterinary doctor, it's my first time applying for a job in Maldives,

The employer told me that they're waiting for the cancellation of the pervious colleague who left 17 days ago Then they will apply for my work permit so that I can come.

But it's taking so long time for the cancellation to get accredited them with the work permit due to the quota.

They are surprised and told me usually it takes 3 days to finish the cancellation process.

what are the possible causes for the delay?
