My first marriage was to an American girl. She was 19 and I was 38. It was not a good marriage, I used to introduce her as my first wife. I then married my present wife who is a Filipina. I was 55 and she was 26. That was 17 years ago and we are still married and getting along very well.

          I am 5 years older than my Filipina wife, she retired at age 62 and I retired at age 68, worked out well.

I am 64 and the better half 33 and has worked well for 13 years and still going strong,,,,, but were not married.

Australia and here no one seems to bat an eyelid, who cares what they fluster over behind our backs as long as we are happy and that's what matters.

Am from the UK.  My first wife, from uk, passed away after 43 years and a long illness. My current wife, a philipino, I married just over 2 years ago. We had been talking on a daily basis for about 7 years and after covid took the plunge and came to philippines. 10 years age difference, am older, but no regrets except uk immigration being awkward even for a tourist visa.

Have been lucky perhaps and enjoy the country. Settled.
