Which area to live in Singapore?

I've recently been made an offer on a role in Singapore and looking to relocate from the UK. Im hoping to get some advice from people already living there about the best area to rent an apartment. Im looking for somewhere away from the hustle and bustle but with lots of green space close by so I can go running. Im going to be using public transport so access to the MRT is essential. Ideally there would be a good size strength training gym in close proximity. Any guidance would be gratefully received.

If you rent a room in condo man, then you get gym inside it itself.

In Singapore everywhere it's green. If you want more greenery then can try exploring the red MRT line.

Otherwise in green MRT can consider Lakeside, I lived there it's good. Other regions could be places nearby East coast park but would be a bit costly rent, but very good living and convenient to go to office.
