Sri Lanka Retirement

108ragnar

I am having trouble getting accurate information on how expat retirees are taxed in Sri Lanka. There is no mention of whether expat foreign incomes (pensions, capital gains, etc.) are taxed, and if so, at what rate. So far, the only place I have found that does not tax foreign income at all is the Philippines. Also, it looks like the My Dream Home retirement program is not available anymore, and I can't see anything that replaces it. The only visa for long term stays seems to be a 30 day renewable visitor's visa with restricted exit/entry. Can anyone here tell me if this is correct or not? I find the Sri Lanka government websites to be vague and lacking useful information.
