@Leeds forever! that鈥檚 what I would do back in the UK, in places like Cha-am if I ask in a shop that sells them all they want to do is sell you a new one, no spare parts available.Thai friends of ours who are local reckon if it was a twin tub I might be in luck but as it鈥檚 an automatic no chance,I鈥檝e seen the part I need on Lazada, a company called Viroj Moter sell them but their main factory is in Bangkok unless there鈥檚 one closer? Might be easier to just order one online.

It doesn't really matter where a company is located when buying from Lazada. BKK is close to Cha-Am when it comes to delivery. I have ordered stuff from Phuket and I'm staying in Jomtien,Pattaya. It took 2 days.

Cheers, that鈥檚 good to know for the future but my mrs isn鈥檛 amused by having to wash clothes by hand so we鈥檙e off to buy a new one tomorrow, can鈥檛 complain really, we must have had it 15 years so it hasn鈥檛 done too bad馃槀 It鈥檚 in my Northern nature not to throw things away without trying to fix them first馃槃 The replacement will probably outlive me!馃槃
