Any members from Vung Tau

VungTauDon

I've lived in Vung Tau for 3.5 years now and would like to see how many others are here.

Also if you have any questions about VT I might be able to help :)

Might not be too many there now, but I imagine once the Casino opens next month there should be quite a few in Vung Tau for at least 3-6 months anyways.

Parymd I just re-read your post and you mentioned my favorite past time "Casinos". Is that place really going to finely get off the ground? You got a link for the info? Thanks

Here is the link It doesn't say when they are going to open but I talked to one of the Casino Hosts in Las Vegas that is working on the project and she told me it is suppose to open in March.

But I don't know about the casino part of it.

Thanks for the links guys. I'll just have to wait and see when it opens. If it's going to be run by MGM it'll be a class operation. The little Mom & Pop ones then run in the hotels in Saigon just don't cut it.

We'll be coming to VT approx. end of June ... currently living in HCMC. I have already checked a couple of houses in the area of the big mountain and on back beach but not decided yet. Any recommendations?

I don't know of anything right now but I can ask a friend who is very familiar with the rental market.
I used to live near back beach, on Phan Chu Trinh. There are a lot of French, English, and Australian expats in the area

Thx! I still have some time, so will also contact agents in VT.

Update about the casino in Vung Tau, looks like it's still going to be awhile:

Very interesting story. I am thinking the amount of "coffee money" involved became too much for the聽 risk/reward ratio. I am going to have to call my friends back in Vegas and find out the real story.
