I am trying to look at the feasibility of setting up some clothing manufacturing. If anyone knows someone who speaks decent English and would be willing to give me some basic information and knowledge, I would be more than happy to take them out for a beer or dinner in exchange for educating me on the basics of cloth and clothing manufacturing in Vietnam.

I wish you luck with your endevors. I just wish that there were places that had big america sizes here in Vietnam. I have to have everything of mine handmade and hand tailored for me. I am like a 6XL for the sizes and the locals only carry 5XL.
