Summer weather in North Belize vs south Belize

Planning a 2 week exploration trip in June or July.聽 Will spend time in Corazol as well as the Cays.聽 Perhaps inland as far as Belmopan.聽 I am from Florida so I can understand what hot and humid means.聽 What kind of rain patterns can I expect?聽 Would June be much different than July?聽 Is the rain patterns in Placencia much different than Corazol?

You can get a good idea of average rainfall in particular regions from this rainfall map
No way to determine how much it will rain in June vs July - both months are part of the rainy season. I can say that I have been in Cayo and Stann Creek in June, and seen little rain. Vast difference in rainfall between Placencia and northern Belize.

Thx for the replies.聽 I have checked on the history of precipitation previous to my post.聽 I am wondering if rainfall in Corozal during June and July follows a similar pattern as rainfall in Florida.聽 We have hot humid days that are mostly sunny until the afternoon.聽 Then the moisture builds up in the clouds and dumps on us every afternoon/early evening.聽 Then it clears up again, usually.聽 There are exceptions with storms that can last a week or so but mostly we experience afternoon showers.聽 Is it like that in Corozal or would I be more likely to have solid rain day and night?
