Hello Carol and AnnMarie, My name is Juan Rivera and my wife's name is Karen, we are new to the expat.com site. Our interest is to also visit Belize for possible retirement options including but not limited to, acquiring property, looking into dual citizenship, and the possibility of opening a small business.

We are very interested in the proposition of traveling with like minded expats. We are residents of Minnesota, looking into options for becoming snowbirds in the winter.

We are flexible to the time of travel, however we were planning to make the 2500 mile journey in the next few months, we are concerned traveling alone despite how safe everyone says it is, like I said we are new on this adventure and would appreciate impute of more experienced central American travelers.
