Hello,

My elderly parents live in the Dominican Republic for half the year, and I鈥檓 looking for a reputable agency through which we can hire a housekeeper. The role would primarily involve cleaning the house and doing laundry. Since they speak Spanish, communication won鈥檛 be a concern.

There really are not many agencies doing this.聽 Generally I have always gotten house staff by asking people I know, including neighbors.

mine only cleans once a week and I don't trust anyone to do my laundry here! I have outlawed cloro from the laundry area!

The hiring and screening process is fast, test them out.聽 They do a good job, keep them. They don't then try someone else.聽 I don't permit my cleaner to throw water everywhere!聽 It's common and I don't like it.聽 If they won't clean the way I want it done they are replaced.

Transportation - I pay their costs.
