Price for fresh fish per pound

Do you guys approximately how much one should pay for fresh mahi mahi?

There is a guy around cabarete beach that sells his fish at $200 pesos per pound uncut.

What do you think, is this gringo price?

I have a fillet of dorado frozen in the fridge that I bought in Super Pola in Santo Domingo and the price was $198 per pound.

so it is way too much then. Cause he sell it at 200 pesos before he does the fillet.

he bring a whole 12 lbs fish and said it's 200 pesos per pounds. Then he does fillet it but there isn't too much meat. i was wondering if 1400 pesos is too much

Fresh fish usually weighed and priced prior to cleaning and cutting into fillets. Currently paying $170 rd for fresh Mahi Mahi and Tuna in Charamicos
