We live in Puerto Plata. Earlier this year found two puppies someone had tossed on the street in a sack.聽 We kept them, fed, spayed & vaccinated them.聽 Problem is we already have three other dogs & five is just too many. If anyone is looking for really cute, small to medium size dogs, let me know. I can send pictures!

Hi, I鈥檇 recommend you also go on instagram and facebook and contact the dog-lover groups asap.聽 Send pictures and your contact info (whatsapp).聽 You will find homes!

In Punta Cana for example, there is @rescatamepc

Contact Dogs and Cats of the Dominican Republic. They have shelters and a network of fosters throughout the country. They also have a lot of adoptions in Canada and send hundreds of dogs there each year on chartered flights.

Still looking for good homes for two dogs we rescued in 2021. Dogs & Cats of Dominican Republic cannot accept any more dogs due to the US banning import of dogs (&112 other countries) at least until July 14, 2022. The sanctuaries are beyond full capacity & foster homes here have 10+ animals in each.
Please consider adopting a beautiful, sweet & friendly year old dog (or two) vaccinated & spayed. 馃檹
