Bhavna

Hello everyone,

What are the requirements for acquiring citizenship in Saint Kitts and Nevis? For example, length of residence, language requirements, employment etc..

What formalities are involved in the process?

What is the policy on dual-citizenship in Saint Kitts and Nevis? Do you have to give up your former nationality?

What are the advantages and benefits of acquiring Kittitian citizenship, in your opinion?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

I know a little bit. If you've had work permit for 3 consecutive years you're eligible for residency. I recently just moved here. Going through the discovery process now.

There's also the Citizenship by Investment Program. One of the advantages is access to over 130 countries visa-free. It's a beautiful serene twin-island nation. Easy travel to US and Canada...they have a website with more details on this and a tool that lets you calculate how much it'll cost you and your dependants to acquire citizenship through investment...a quick Google search can help. No restrictions on dual citizenship.

I know this is an old post, but to answer some of your questions:

And No, you don't have to renounce your current citizenship.  One benefit is having the ability to have an offshore Bank.
