Where are you from?

And second : where are you from ?
Having a European citizenship is not that easy and requires a few years in the country and the knowledge of culture and the language and laws...

i am from new england...USA. i know it is very hard and takes a lot of work but its been my dream for so long..i just need some help!

You might want to try visiting for a bit first to make sure that moving to Europe is what you really want to do.  Go around to a few different countries you're interested in to see which culture suits you the most. Of course you could just pick one and go for it, but you should try to maximize your chances of making a good move the first time - it will save you a lot of money and anxiety!

It's very difficult to become a citizen of an European country, as most of them require you to reside there for many years. You also need to speak, write, read the host language. You can try working holiday agreement depending on where you want to go and which country has an agreement with USA.

You should visit Europe before and try to spend some time there, studying, traveling or even working. The biggest problem for any expat is to find a good job, specially if you don't know the language properly.

Just consider that after the "honeymoon" period it comes the hard reality. I know people from other countries who went to live to Spain and after some months, they had to come back to their countries because it was difficult to make a living there. I also know some succesful stories too.

First visit some countries in your holidays, better in the winter, and decide if this is what you want to do.

Moving (on a permanent basis) to a different country is one thing. Taking/applying for the Nationality of a country quite something else.
Most Countries won't even think about it unless you're actually living there, have a job, have the necessary Health and other Insurances, or have some link (familly or otherwise) with that country.
Advantages of Europe, for example, are that once you have your Residence Permit, you can generally move around the various EC countries, freely.
Hairdressing is one of those "jobs" which do have free positions, but require in many EC countries a Diploma or Certificate. Not ALL EC countries require this, but for a reasonable job you need one.
Languages are important, you don't seem to appreciate that! Although English is widespread in Europe, by no means everyone speaks it!
I would suggest that you go to European Embassies or "cultural associations" - Exchange programmes are also a possibility - in your area - you could try Google searching them - ask at your own local Governmental Employment Agencies, most of them do have special services for such requests.
Finally - If you speak only English, I would definately start off with a UK country, or possibly Holland (most Dutch speak English) and take it from there!
Don't forget - life always looks better "on the other side of the fence" - but isn't always!
