Police visit after registration to commune

quebecois1905

Hello all,

Can you share your waiting times after you registered to commune until the police visit? It will be a first time registration with a visa D (single permit). I want to know how long should i wait for police as it blocks many things as i won’t have a carte A without it. Especially in Namur area, i wonder. Thank you.
