Hello Everyone,
i tried to look for a similar topic to mine, but i couldn't find, in case it's already posted, please send me the link.

i'm from Morocco and i've moved to France a year and half ago, i have a french work permit of 4 years, my current employer suggest on me to move to Belgium, and from what i understand, we'll need to apply for a single permit, my question is, can my family(wife and kids) apply in the same time with me, i mean accompany, or i'll have to wait until my single permit is granted, and then i can start the family reunification .

You wait for your single permit. Once that is approved, you all can apply for visas at the same time, to move here.

Do you have any idea much time would it take for my family to get there visa, i mean, do they have to undergo the 9 to 15 months, or it will be different, as we'll apply simultaneously.

If you apply at the same time, the process is normally fast (1 week). If the consulate thinks that your dependents file needs to be sent to Belgium for processing, it can result in waiting.

you're correct, but It seems quite hard to require the Visa D in the same time.

Because of these are two documents:
-Sufficient housing

-Mutuelle (which requires an belgian address).

When you apply together,
- Housing: Initial hotel booking or apartment contract for initial period (1 month or so), and a letter from your employer stating that you will be finding a long-term accommodation using this initial stay period, will suffice.
- Mutuelle: Travel medical insurance for initial period (3 months) and a letter from your employer stating that you and your family will be subscribed to a Belgian mutuality the day you start employment with them.

This is normally enough for most of the consulates.

Thank you for your reinssurance.
So if i well understand, prior applying for our visa, i'll have to make a reservation of one month at least for all the family members ,subrscibe a 3 months insurance, and require the 2 letters from my future employer.?
