Hi can anybody suggest a few furniture/houshold stores and suppliers? (if they are on-line to view their sites even better?)
Either around Veliko Tarnovo are, Ruse, Shumen?? Would be helpfull as that is quite central to me for travelling?
Also DIY, white goods, soft furnishings etc...
I would like a solid wood kitchen table with bench seats, I stayed at a guest house in Lovech that had this old slab of tree planed down polished up and made into a table set which was very nice.

We made a purchase through Mondo Mebeli for our bedroom set, and are very pleased with it.

They have a wide range, so a lot of it is the lower quality, pressed board stuff, but they do have some wood sets (like our bedroom) look for the word: 屑邪褋懈胁

Alternatively, I have been looking for higher quality items in Gabrovo and stumbled across this site:

But I haven't been into their store here, yet.

I would steer clear of places like yavor, hit design, and aron (especially aron)- they have very few actual wood items available. Yavor and hit design are okay for cheaper stuff to fill in until you start collecting better furniture, or okay for a new family setting up for the first time, but they are not usually items you will be inspired to keep you whole life.
