Trains from Sofia ?

Hi all, can some one please tell me Trains out of Sofia which towns do they call at and where do they finish ?.
Also when getting off the Plane at Sofia airport can we get to the train station ?.

Hi have you considered coach travel, I only suggest it as although the train travel offers a different view and experience they are very slow and old.
I tried the train from Sofia across towards Ruse, I had difficulty finding the platform, (I asked the police who are based in the station) once I found it I sat on the platform after asking the guard who ushered me away no idea why because just before it left he rushed me back on!! (the train journey had one change which I did not know)聽 thankfully a lady who spoke English informed of the change.
It was certainly an experience, but I did book a coach for my return.
The bus station and railway are almost next to each the costs are similar but the travel time is much quicker by coach, not as personal but effective.
